USING REALPLAYER (RECOMMENDED) OR PLAYERS THAT RECOGNIZE .RAM FILES
Advantages:
1. No new software if you already have it.
2. Resizable player.
3. Can see each song's title and artist in play window.
4. Automatically launches Playlist page inside the Player's viewer.
5. View CD cover art, Top 10 Requests, Currently Playing and Recently Played songs.
6. Make song requests from the displayed Playlist page.
NOTE: After several minutes or hours of displaying the playist, you may lose the playlist to a "Action Cancelled" page. To retrieve the playlist, simply click the Player's "refresh" button and the ALR playlist will return.
Disadvantages:
1. May experience buffering delays.
2. May disconnect during buffering delays.

USING THE WINAMP PLAYER OR PLAYERS THAT RECOGNIZE .PLS FILES
Advantages:
1. No download if you already have it.
2. Use various skins to personalize your listening experience.
3. Fairly stable streaming experience.
4. View each song title and artist.
Disadvantages:
1. Cannot view the Playlist pages and CD cover art.

USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER OR PLAYERS THAT RECOGNIZE .ASX FILES
Advantages:
1. No new software if you already have it.
2. You can set visualizations. (But you probably won't want to since that feature closes the playlist window.)
3. Is a standalone application.
4. Resizeable player.
5. View full playlist, Currently Playing and Recently Played songs from the displayed Playlist page.
6. Make song requests from the Playlist page.
Windows Media Player Operational Note: After long periods of listening, the viewable playlist may return a "Page Unavailable" error, erroneously. To again see the "Currently Playing" web page, simply click another Windows Media Player button (like the Media Guide, Radio Tuner or Premium Services button. After hearing a soft click, click the "Now Playing" WM Player button again, and the ALR "Currently Playing" page will return.
Disadvantages:
1. Comparatively less stable streaming experience (is subject to buffering and "stuttering" delays).
2. May experience interfering sounds when streaming (i.e. other embedded sounds on web pages).
3. May experience launch problems, such as "Windows Media Player encounted an unknown problem," or "Type not registered" messages. This can be corrected by simply closing the player, and clicking the link until the player opens and plays the stream. This may take a few tries before it launches ALR.
